Spend time relaxing on the pristine beaches of South Goa, explore the UNESCO-listed Portuguese-era churches of Old Goa, wander through the colourful Latin Quarter of Panjim, and delight your senses with a tour of a local spice plantation that ends with a traditional lunch served on a banana leaf.
You stay in a 4-star beach resort for all seven nights, so there is no packing and unpacking; a private air-conditioned car takes you on three guided excursions and leaves the rest of the week free. Breakfast and airport transfers are included. This tour is the perfect blend of relaxation, culture and culinary exploration, and it is an ideal way to finish any longer India itinerary on a beach. Guided tour of Old Goa's UNESCO churches: Basilica of Bom Jesus, Se Cathedral and the Church of St. Cajetan. Afternoon walk through the pastel lanes of Fontainhas, Panjim's Latin Quarter, with a stop for Goan pastries.
Tour a working spice farm to see pepper, cardamom, cinnamon and cashew, followed by a Goan lunch. Visit the Shanta Durga and Mangeshi temples on the way back.
