About Us – Your India Travel Specialists

One country, one team, one promise: a journey through India that is easy to plan, comfortable to travel and impossible to forget.

Our story

It started with one trip that changed everything

Visit to India - Travels to India was born from a first journey to Rajasthan that was meant to last two weeks and turned into a lifelong connection. We came home with a notebook full of things we wished somebody had told us: which hotel rooms face the lake, which guide can make a 400-year-old fort come alive, which train is worth taking and which road is better by car.

That notebook became a company. Today we are a specialist tour operator focused exclusively on India, run by A.Development Alicja Duda and supported by local teams in Delhi, Jaipur and Kochi. We do not sell a hundred destinations. We sell one, and we know it street by street.

Over the years we have planned journeys for more than 8,500 travellers: honeymooners, families with small children, solo travellers, photographers and groups of friends celebrating a milestone birthday. Every one of those trips was private, and no two were the same.

What we stand for

Three principles behind every itinerary

Honesty first

We tell you when a place is overrated, when a drive is long and when your wish list needs more days. No commission-driven shopping stops, ever.

First-hand knowledge

Every hotel, restaurant and experience we recommend has been visited and tested by our own team in the past 18 months.

Care on the ground

From the airport welcome to the farewell transfer, a real person is responsible for you, reachable 24 hours a day.

Why choose us

What we do differently

Most agencies sell fixed group departures. We build private tours around you. That means your own car and driver, your own guide in each city and a schedule that bends when you want to linger over a spice market or skip a museum.

  • Itineraries that make geographic sense. We keep drives under five hours wherever possible and build in rest days on longer tours.
  • Hotels with character. Converted palaces in Rajasthan, plantation bungalows in Munnar and family-run heritage houses in Kochi.
  • Food you can trust. Restaurants are chosen for hygiene as much as flavour; cooking classes and market walks are part of many tours.
  • Clear prices. Each tour page lists what is included and what is not. The quote you approve is the price you pay.

Our team

The people who look after you

Behind every booking is a small chain of people who know each other by first name. Your tour manager in Europe designs the route and answers your questions before departure. Your operations coordinator in India reconfirms every hotel and transfer the day before and is the voice on the 24-hour phone line.

Your driver stays with you for the whole trip: they are employed, insured, trained in defensive driving and speak conversational English. Your local guides are government-licensed specialists in their own city, whether that means Mughal history in Agra, temple iconography in Madurai or birdlife in Ranthambore.

English is standard. German, French, Spanish, Italian and Polish-speaking guides are available in the main cities with advance notice.

Vehicles are less than four years old, serviced before every tour and equipped with seat belts, a first-aid kit and bottled water. Drivers have at least eight years of experience on tourist routes.

Responsible travel

Travel that gives something back

Tourism supports millions of families in India, and we want your trip to support the right ones. We work with locally owned hotels, pay guides and drivers fair wages and include visits to community projects such as women's craft cooperatives near Ranthambore and Bishnoi villages outside Jodhpur.

  1. No elephant rides or animal shows. At Amber Fort we use jeeps; wildlife is observed in the wild.
  2. Less plastic. Our cars carry refillable water in large containers.
  3. Respect for local customs. Our etiquette guide helps you be a welcome guest.
